Seven Sirens Brewing Co., a veteran-owned craft brewery sourcing local and organic ingredients, is expected to open in late January or early February on the ground floor of 327 Broadway, a renovated parking garage, in south Bethlehem.
Christmas City Spirits, a craft distillery focusing on colonial-inspired distillations, over the past few weeks unveiled its select-grain vodka, sweet corn whiskey, barley whiskey (two styles) and the George Washington-inspired ¡°cherry bounce¡± at the Tavern at the Sun Inn in historic Bethlehem.
Following the recent openings of four fast-casual eateries ¨C Johnny¡¯s Bagels & Deli, a combined Auntie Anne¡¯s and Cinnabon Caf¨¦ and health-focused fruit parlor Bols, the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township plans to welcome restaurant and entertainment hub Dave and Buster¡¯s along with frozen dessert and ice cream chain H?agen-Dazs in the spring.

Plaza Azteca, a Mexican restaurant chain offering ¡°traditional flavors combined with a Tex Mex flair,¡± will open its first Lehigh Valley location at the former Tilted Kilt building at 2835 Lehigh St. in Allentown.
Paese Mio, an Italian restaurant that opened 22 years ago at 6561 W. Tilghman St. in Upper Macungie Township, will close on Dec. 31 in advance of husband and wife owners Mike and Rosa Basile¡¯s retirement.
Husband and wife Carl and Kristin Cressman, who opened Fast Fit Cafe in July at 306 Delaware Ave., on Nov. 11 purchased the neighboring Palmerton Hotel at 302-304 Delaware Ave. The Bowmanstown couple has been renovating the Palmerton landmark ¨C repainting walls, replacing furniture, installing new flooring and kitchen equipment and more, with plans to re-open the restaurant ¡°hopefully right before Thanksgiving next week,¡± Carl said.
Insurrection Distillery, offering grain-to-glass spirits such as bourbon, vodka, rum and rye whiskey, held a soft opening Oct. 26 and will hold a grand opening Saturday at 201 N. Main Lane in Lehighton.
